In cooperation with the Association of Ukrainian space simulation sports noosphere Max Polyakov, which actively supports the techno-innovations in Ukraine https://focus.ua/country/402088/, I took another step towards the revival of interest in space and rocket technology among young Ukrainians. Если вы видели что-то летающее быстро и высоко около Чернигова – it was a missile, launched during the competition "Rocket Ukraine": Competition for Young rocket constructors.
The competition was attended by both experienced, and new engineers on Space Modeling. 3 winner shared the prize fund $ 3500. Before the first 2 Rounds start each team had to present their rocket. Besides, The rocket was supposed to have a recovery system in my rocket, to carry the load of two fragile eggs.
Six teams from all over Ukraine have registered for participation in the contest. Successfully launched only five teams in the first round, потому что команда «Ракетная модель Харькова» не смогла запустить ракету по техническим причинам. After the first round of the rescue system rocket Space Talent team failed, and the team could not continue. But it is worth mentioning, that the construction of the rocket was quite good, to preserve the fragile load burglary.
After the second round the team took the following places in the standings:
- 1-place and the grand prize of 50 000 hryvnia – Impulse command of Shostka with 59,24 points;
- 2-a place 30 000 UAH. – Team Planet from Nezhin with 122,94 points;
- 3-a place 10 000 UAH. – with a team of Kherson 154,92 points;
- 4-a place – Uranium from Chernigov team, 157,36 points;
- 5-a place – team "Space talents" from Lviv, no points for the salvation of a system failure;
- 6-a place – Kharkov team rocket models from Kharkov, which for technical reasons could not go to start.
Team Planet from Nezhin also won the prize for best presentation. Team Impulse, which won, will take part in the international exhibition in London rocket.
These competitions are not the first-class rockets S2P, organized Noosphere. Such competitions are widely popular in the US. For the first time in the history of independent Ukraine noosphere organized missile challenges S2P in Space Models FAI part of the World Cup . This happened in Lviv 21-28 August.
Soon to be announced rocketry rules in Ukraine. In order to promote creative thinking among the participants of the rules will be changed in the next year in accordance with international rules.
