unReal – the first film shot with 4K sports cameras. Trailer

Maximum resolution is by far one of the hottest topics in the tech industry at the moment.. And this is not surprising - high quality just looks great. Sports cameras are becoming increasingly popular, thanks to which you can record extreme feats without any problems. What if we combine this and create a full-length film?? Sounds like a joke, but it turned out to be an interesting production.

unReal-1

unReal is exactly that kind of film. This is a series of pictures, depicting the exploits of the world's best extreme cyclists( Brandon Semenuk, Brett Rheeder, Cam McCaul, Graham Agassiz, and Stiv Smitt) against the backdrop of the beautiful American landscapes of Cumbria, Dubois and British Columbia.

Cyclist stunts have been recorded using Sony FDR-X1000V, which means sports cameras of the Action Cam series, which record video in 4K/Ultra HD resolution. This is an example of, how electronic sports and cinema can combine and produce interesting results.

Innovative evolution carried out by the world's best players with unconventional implementation methods, makes a performance out of the “unReal” video, which is a must see not only for bicycle lovers, but also everyone who is a supporter of extreme sports, those who want to feel how the limits of gravity and fear are exceeded. This 56-minute creation is the first ever 4K movie about a bicycle.. This spectacle was created by enthusiasts, for people who go against the grain and want to escape from the everyday hustle and bustle”, – says Sony in a commentary.
