Company Transcend introduced the 2.5-inch SSD 220S media, this is the first of its discs with memory TLC NAND. As stated by the manufacturer is low-end models, which are suitable for upgrading an existing PC or laptop.
The new series includes two versions, capacity: 240 and 480 GB. In both cases the controller Silicon Motion SM2256KAB and TLC NAND memory.
The manufacturer claims data rate – 550 MB / s when reading and 450 MB / s when recording, and the number of IO amounting to 80 000 IOPS when reading and writing.
