One of the universal and completely free software for amateur design is Sweet Home 3D – created in Java and licensed under the GPL. Unlike other free programs of this type, Sweet Home 3D allows you to arrange more than one, and several rooms simultaneously (the entire apartment or floor of the house), and also allows very accurately determine the size and location of the individual objects placed in the room.
The application allows you to build walls, installing windows, doors, stairs, and also makes it possible to partition planning. A useful feature is the ability to download an image file (eg, from scanned apartment project) to enable accurate tracking program.
Interior Design It formed quite easily, as on projected surface, you can apply different types of pieces of equipment from the database, contained in the program and divided into categories. The standard base is rather limited, but you can download many additional pieces of equipment to the home page of the program.
Sweet Home 3D is a relatively simple three-dimensional visualization module. Since the program does not offer lighting simulation, and themselves 3D-models of objects are pretty simple, the overall picture has no high degree of realism. But that is enough, to form an image created by interior design.
The finished project can be saved and printed (well as a list of used items). An example of a finished interior design project you can see below.
