De Boer-Buquicchio, off the shoulder of the UN, proposed to Japan that child pornography in manga and anime should be completely banned. Japan has not responded yet, but, slowly the consciousness of the Japanese is changing, because a year ago the law came into force, which prohibits the possession and distribution of child pornography.
