Cyberwar is not fiction – there is still time to prepare
The CIA and other organizations that keep the United States safe have been calling on states to strengthen cybersecurity since the 90s. last century. AT 1999 GLBA law was issued in this regard (Gramm-Leach-Billey Act), regulating financial information protection issues, but 4 years later, the Presidential National Cyberspace Defense Strategy program was created.
It's not a secret to anybody, that cybersecurity is one of Barack Obama's priorities. AT 2011 году Белый Дом и Министерство Обороны Сша опубликовали международную стратегию действий в киберпространстве. Создано отдельное Кибернетическое Командование (USCYBERCOM) подчинено Стратегическому Командованию. Президентская администрация работает над актом, регулирующим обмен информацией между государственным и частным секторами.
Many projects and initiatives have been launched in the USA. Private companies are taking part in strengthening cybersecurity, institutions, universities and game and software manufacturers. Cyber warfare requires a complete change in approach - in the end, humans play a much smaller role. knowing this, The United States is beginning to use so-called cyber soldiers. This is an army of computers that has advanced artificial intelligence, the purpose of which is to counter cyber attacks and automate actions.
Or do Americans really need this?? Unconditionally yes. for example, at 2009-2011 years, the Chinese constantly attacked IT companies (by the way, the giant Google), as well as enterprises, developing security for servers, desktops and mobile devices RSA Security. Already mentioned Google, together with Yahoo were victims of attacks from the UK in 2009-2013 years.

It's hard to imagine, what would happen, if the cybersecurity policy of the United States had not constantly evolved. Other states, certainly, should follow the example of the United States and implement similar solutions. It's time to understand, that cyberwar is not a fiction, but continues - here and now. Or is Ukraine sufficiently protected?? Hard to say, but, certainly, beefing up security would be a smart move.
