Movies, taken with sports cameras, have their difficulties, related to shocks and distortions of frames. To minimize and even eliminate this problem, camera needs to be stabilized. The first waterproof gimbal for GoPro is Remov S1, which will be available in Ukraine in autumn.
External stabilizer, which uses sensors, turn responsive and motors, corrective position in three axes – this is a much better solution, than any image stabilization inside the camera. The latter works after the fact, reacting to movements, recorded by the camera, while the gimbal tries to prevent their occurrence.
Remov S1 – it's a pen, to which you can attach your GoPro camera or GoPro system accessories, which allows you to place Removu S1 not only on a tripod, but also on a helmet or a bicycle frame. Directly compatible with GoPro HERO3, HERO3+, HERO4 и HERO4 Session. Adapters will also be released in the future, which will ensure compatibility with cameras from other manufacturers.
Removu S1 is equipped with waterproof design, and the kit includes a Bluetooth remote control for remote control of the camera position. Additional holder, which can be disassembled and which is useful when shooting handheld, equipped with an informer about the operating mode in the form of an OLED panel.
Stabilizer weighs 382 gram with pen, and after dismantling – 302 gram. Charger included (needed to charge the battery, which ensures operation for approximately 3-4 hours).
The stabilizer will be on sale at the end of November at a price 1299 rubles. Funds for the implementation of the S1 project, collected within the Indiegodo platform, you can also order the device there at a lower price.
