We all look forward to the premiere of processors Intel Kaby Lake and a new series of motherboards 200. MSI has now decided to lift the veil of secrecy and boasts two models of the series Pro - Z270 SLI and Z270 SLI PLUS.
Both boards are based on the same project, but differ in some details (in particular, efficient radiators and increased memory slots and connectors M. 2 Version SLI PLUS). Stand LGA allocated to the processor 1151, compatible with current Intel Skylake processors and new Kaby Lake, and four connectors compatible with 2-channel sets RAM memory allocated DDR4.
The manufacturer has also released a rich set of connectors. For expansion cards it has been allocated three PCI-Express 3.0 x1 и x16, while the hard six SATA drives 6 Gb / s and two M.2 32 Gbit / s. Improved functionality of the merit of the new Intel chipsets 200, which have a large number of PCI-Express lines.
It remains only to recall, that the new processors and motherboard should be available early next year. Some of the new cards will also be equipped with technology M.2 Shield.
