Facebook refutes the theory 6 handshakes

6 hand theoryYou know the six degrees of separation (or: six degrees of remoteness)? This hypothesis, that each of us can reach anyone in the world through a maximum of five other people. All this thanks to the short intermediate network of friends.

This theory however old, and the world had changed. We now have a web – websites, social networks, who know about our friends over, than we are. Owners Facebook counted, that today one person from another separates much less.

so here, Facebook is more or less actively using at the moment 1,59 billion people. This is a huge database and the Internet giant has decided to use it for re-examination of social separation.

As it turned out, thanks to, that there is Facebook and what (very simplistic) She uses it every five people on Earth, Today the degree of distance from one another is, apparently, only 3,57.

In theory: in recent years we have become very close. On practice, Unfortunately, probably the other way around, the less separates us from each other, the more separates us from each other?

    Another stupid news from Facebook…

AND “In theory: in recent years we have become very close. On practice, Unfortunately, probably the other way around, the less separates us from each other, the more separates us from each other?”

You can not write it normally, clear?

Many people on fb do not have friends in real life. Special, when it comes to people, “well-known”, as actors or heads of state. Usually (in theory) – for me two or three steps to the president, because i know a guy [ shook his hand in the elections] who is now a deputy , he, of course, know the president or at least someone, Who knows. On practice, but, he probably doesn't even remember me, what are we “friends”.
