Most laptops recently received touchscreens – absolutely no extra functionality when performing certain tasks. However, if you have purchased a laptop, and similar technology it lacks, lower arm should not. The company announced the Neonode useful accessory AirBar, screen which will add almost any mobile computer touch capabilities.
Neonode AirBar consists of a bar, which with a magnet attached to the bottom of the screen when connected to USB-port laptop. The gadget starts to emit visible light beams on display, by which tracked the movements and gestures. As the developers say, accessory works without additional drivers and Windows OS chrome (on OS X device has limited functionality until). Neonode AirBar detects any object, you are working on screen, or finger, pencil or other object.
Neonode AirBar plan to sell $50 for 15.6-inch laptops. The novelty will be presented at CES 2016 in January.
