Pirate action RPG King of Seas will sail to release shores in May

Publisher Team17 on its official website announced the acquisition of the rights to release the pirate action RPG King of Seas from the Italian studio 3DClouds and the forced transfer of the game.

Recall, until recently it was assumed, that King of Seas will go on sale 18 February this year. As it turned out, developers do not have time to meet the previously planned deadlines.

Team17 confirmed, that from now on, the premiere of King of Seas is scheduled for May this year. Additional time and help from the publisher will help 3DClouds make the project better.

In a press release, the developers mention improving the quality of the gameplay, as well as translation of King of Seas into additional languages, including german, French, Spanish and Chinese (traditional and simplified).

"We're glad, that we can come aboard to 3DClouds and help with the release of King of Seas. The game is already hotly anticipated, and we can't wait to improve it for the release on PC and consoles in the spring. ", - said the head of Team17 Chris Coates (Chris Coates).

Francesco Bruschi, CEO of 3DClouds (Francesco Bruschi) called cooperation with Team17 "Fantastic opportunity" for the studio and especially King of Seas, which now "Will reach a new level of quality and an even wider audience".

King of Seas is made for PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), PlayStation 4, Xbox One и Nintendo Switch. The start of collecting pre-orders is expected soon - the cost of the game will be $25.
