Subaru's S Series has been in production for over a decade, now there is a WRX STI model. It is a pity that this car will appear only in the manufacturer's country., as many of our drivers liked it. Subaru introduced a special version of the WRX STI – S207. This does not mean at all, what does the car have 207 L.S.. There are many more, But more on that later. It is worth thinking about the style. The shape is a well-known car manufacturer., but with some additions. Another bumper appeared in front, which increases downforce of the front axle. On the grille, you can see a plastic strip with a red accent and the S207 lettering, highlighting the uniqueness of this version. There are additional sills on the side, which visually reduce the car. At the back is a massive trunk and of course the emblem “S207”.
The interior is dominated by a sporty style. The steering wheel is lined in Alcantara and the seats are fitted with excellent lateral support. As on the body, and in the interior, you will see the emblem “S207”, screaming about the uniqueness of this model. Several technical changes have also been introduced., Bilstein took care of this. New BBS rims with 255 / 35R19 tires, improved Brembo brakes, as well as reduced gear lever travel (11:1).
Subaru WRX STI S207 will only be produced with right-hand drive. It is planned to produce everything 400 Limited Edition S207, including 100 even more exclusive NBR Challenge Package Yellow Edition.
In the Challenge Package Yellow Edition, in addition to the bright yellow lacquer (you can still order blue, White or black), the buyer receives a low spoiler, black BBS rims and mirrors. The interior of the NBR version will have red seat belts, as well as a vibration-absorbing steering wheel. It is also worth noting, that specifically for the S207 version, the Vehicle Dynamics Control and Active Torque systems have been brought to mind.
The main changes of course took place under the hood.. 2-the liter engine received new software and a rebuilt twin scroll turbocharger. Added to this is a professional muffler. Are you wondering what happened? 328 L. with. and 431 nm. This is an increase of 20 L. with. and 38 Nm relative to conventional WRX STI.
Unfortunately, Subaru WRX STI S207 slated for sale in Japanese market only. For fans of this brand, there is only a private way to import it.. The price of the car is unknown, but will probably be higher, than the standard WRX STI.
