This week, the assembly line of CRRC Qingdao Sifang Co. descended newest hybrid tram Delingha. In it used energy storage technology based on supercapacitors and lithium-titanate battery. It is designed with the use of cold-resistant materials, that allow its use in cold regions.
Trams Delingha to conquer the Tibetan plateau to the end of the year, which is one of the highest places on the planet. Transport will run at about 3 000 meters above sea level.
Interesting, Delingha that the name is a reference to the eponymous county-level city Hayes, Mongolian-Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province in northwest China.
