Corsair Obsidian 1000D is a computer case from an American manufacturer, which, based on the size and the proposed features, may interest lovers of the use of liquid cooling. There are no officially confirmed data on it yet., since there was not even an announcement. but, if you look at the design, you will see a great similarity with the presented at Computex 2017 concept Slate.

As already mentioned, a new representative was pre-ordered on the site of one of the Canadian stores “obsidian”, so we know more information about it. shell itself a huge, depth / width / height are respectively: 693 x 307 x 697 mm. No less impressive weight, about 30 kg. Important information – complete no fans, but in many places adorned RGB LED backlight.

A distinctive feature of this case is typical of the Obsidian Series elegant appearance, use tempered glass and RGB LED Backlight.

Through the use of 3 camera, that is central to the system in the E-ATX format, the second for the Mini-ITX and the last for the power supply and hard drives, it is possible to create in a single package the two systems, one can be used for games, the second is to surf the internet, watching movies, listening to music, and other simple tasks. It is also possible creation main PC and the file server in a single housing.

The front panel:

Also looks attractive possibility of installing hard drives. Dedicated trays allow you to install up to five hard drives 3.5″ and eight pieces of SSD 2.5″. This means that the body will satisfy even the most demanding users.

Features certainly impressive, though a little intimidating size, use the cubic capacity in 148 l will not be easy. Probably inside will be a lot of empty space, if you do not use multiple graphics cards, liquid-cooled.
