Almost a year ago we talked and warned that there will be a digital media Fixstars SSD-5000 with a record capacity 5 TB. Technology has gone forward, industry dictates even more demanding, Fixstars is why the company has developed another hard drive - this time volume 13 TB.
The exact specification is not disclosed - it is known only, that it is used in the author's memory and controller 15 nm MLC NAND production Toshiba, интерфейс SATA 6 Gb / sec. All this managed to fit in a 2.5-inch thick body 15 mm.
SSD-13000M has been designed with the idea of professional applications - primarily in companies, занимающихся созданием видео, wherein in addition to high performance also requires a very good reading and sequential recording. Besides, fit it in scientific calculations.
