Automation of fuel business in Ukraine is released to a new level of difficulty
According to the leading developer of the company's industry software “Softinform“, Ukraine's fuel market is on the verge of significant changes in the field of automation of accounting and reporting. New regulatory requirements create serious challenges for all market participants - from large gas station chains to independent oil depots and wholesale fuel suppliers.
“Modern realities require fuel companies to radically rethink approaches to automating business processes. It's not just about software updates, and about the implementation of complex solutions, which will ensure full compliance with new accounting and reporting standards”, - emphasize the company's experts.
Experts note, which are becoming the main challenges for the industry:
- The need to integrate existing systems with new reporting formats.
- Ensuring accurate accounting of fuel operations in real time.
- Implementation of advanced analytical tools.
- Increasing the level of data protection and cyber security.
According to estimates “Softinform”, enterprises, which will start the process of modernization of automation systems now, will be able to save from 30 to 40% funds compared to those, who will postpone this decision for the future. in addition, early adaptation will avoid potential fines and sanctions for non-compliance with the new requirements.
“It is important to understand, that this is not just a formal requirement of the law, and a necessary step to improve business efficiency. Modern automated systems allow not only to meet regulatory requirements, but also to optimize business processes, reduce operating costs and improve the quality of customer service”, - the company notes.
Experts also emphasize the importance of a comprehensive approach to automation, which includes:
- Audit of existing systems and business processes.
- Development of an individual modernization strategy.
- Phased implementation of new solutions.
- Staff training to work with updated systems.
- Constant technical support and updates.
According to experts' forecasts, the process of transition to new automation standards can take from 3 to 6 months depending on the size of the enterprise and the complexity of the existing systems. At the same time, the most critical success factor is the timely start of modernization and the right choice of technological partner.
The new requirements for automation are designed not only to increase the transparency of operations in the fuel industry, but also to contribute to the general improvement of the quality of services and competitiveness of Ukrainian fuel enterprises on the international market.
